CCN Founder, Dr Cecil Stewart OBE
Cecil was born in Co. Monaghan, Ireland. He left the family home in his late teens and moved to Belfast to establish a career. He founded The Sandown Group in 1968.
Over the following 30 years this grew to become the largest privately owned group of nursing homes in the British Isles. In 1997, 30 nursing homes were sold to allow Cecil to devote more time to his Christian charity and broadcast work.​​​​​​​​

Cecil was honoured in 1988 by Queen Elizabeth with an OBE in recognition of providing professional nursing care for thousands of vulnerable people and for creating employment for almost 2,000 people during the troubles in Northern Ireland.

Dr Stewart conducts life-giving seminars and events where thousands have been empowered and inspired. The major missions have given hope and a new life to multitudes who have gathered in conference centres and fields across Africa and Europe to hear Gods message of salvation, hope and healing.
His programmes go around the world through television, radio, internet and print. Dr Stewart has written a number of books including "What do you mean it's impossible?". You can also benefit from bible teaching notes including our Hope Builders. Our television programme "Deciding Your Destiny" can be seen on Revelation TV every Sunday at 10pm.

Today our focus is very much on empowering youth and families, enabling them to live a God-honouring life in the midst of a culture of compromise. This vision inspires believers to remove barriers and through bridges across cultures so that people of all nationalities and age groups can maximise their influence for the kingdom of God in a world that is so desparately in need of hope.
