GOOD REPORTS IN BAD TIMES
Date: 2005-04-10

Have bad things happened in your life? Have you been overwhelmed with one struggle after another? I want to encourage you to rise above the feelings of frustration and hopelessness through focusing on the favour of God and His plan for your life.

When I faced the darkest days of my life, I found a way to a new day through realising that Jesus took all my fears, worry, and all the consequences of my sin, when He died on the cross so that I don't need to live in bad times any longer.

Since I've discovered his good report in Isaiah 53 v 5,6 and 2 Corinthians 5 v 21, it has changed my life forever. Yes, I have faced bad times in my life that I will never forget. When the cancer specialist told me my wife's days were numbered, when I was told that I had a cancerous tumour and could be promised nothing, when I suffered sadness and depression because of tuberculosis and when I faced a major financial crisis many years ago. Today I can give hope and encouragement to others who are coming through bad times, for I have been there and walked through the valleys to a brand new day. Yes, my wife was healed and I experienced divine help and healing to overcome all of the bad times. Yes, today I am grateful for God's salvation, for my family, my health and the complete assurance that God's favour is upon my life. Not because I deserve it but because of His great love, when He gave His life to redeem me from the hand of Satan. He loves you just as much and wants to give you a good report in your bad time.

If you would like to talk to me personally, I will be happy to do so at Jordanstown Christian Centre, Edenmore Complex, 646 Shore Road, Whiteabbey on Sunday night at 7.00pm. I also invite you to watch 'Deciding Your Destiny' each Monday night at 10.00pm on BSkyB, Inspirational Network International, channel no. 678.
